The Psychology of Wading Birds
When? Tomorrow, Wednesday June 15 , from 6-7 p.m. Where? At the Robinson preserve in Northwest Bradenton What? The Manatee County Department of Natural Resources invites you to join naturalist Melissa for a peek into the mind of beautiful long-legged wading birds. Suitable for participants age 13 and older. Reservations are required; call 941-748-4501, ext 4605.
Sierra Club Water Excursion
When? Sunday, June 19, at 10 a.m. Where? From Palma Sola to Perico Bayou and then Robinson Preserve What? The Manatee Sarasota Sierra Club will host a water excursion. They will explore preserve trails until re-entering Perico and kayaking to Gilligan’s Island in the bay for lunch. Participants are advised to bring lunch, plenty of water and sunscreen.
